Eduqas GCSE Shakespeare Revision

Eduqas split their English Literature GCSE across two written papers. Paper 1 is a two-hour exam worth 40% overall and focuses on students' chosen Shakespeare play and on poetry from 1789 to the present day. Paper 2 has a time-limit of two hours and 30 minutes and it focuses on a post-1914 prose or drama text, a 19th century prose text and unseen 20th and 21st century poetry. Both exams are closed-book which means that students are not allowed copies of their chosen texts to refer to and instead should learn quotations beforehand.

EdPlace’s GCSE exam-style questions and practice papers help your child hone their exam-technique and prepare them for anything the exam may throw at them.
