A habitat is a place where animals and plants live.
Living things need habitats that mean they can survive and grow healthily.
Plants need habitats that mean they can get sunlight, the right temperature and air.

Cacti are often found in deserts as they can survive in hot temperatures and with little water.
Under the sea is wet and shady, seaweed grows well here! Remember though, that nothing can grow too deep in the ocean where there is no sunlight!
In these questions, we will be thinking about what different plants need, and therefore what habitats they grow in.
