Worksheet Overview

Electricity is all around us and we use it all the time in our everyday lives.

When learning about electricity, we can make simple electrical circuits with components.

These circuits are powered by a battery, so the amount of electricity passing round the circuit is quite low.

Appliances in our homes are powered from the mains electricity by using a plug and a plug socket.

The amount of electricity coming out of a plug socket can be large and dangerous.

This is why we never experiment with mains electricity when we are learning about it.
